Word Studies in John
For years I have been aware of the seven signs and seven “I Ams” in the book of John. Ken Clayton in his book “The Key to Understanding the Gospel of John” centers on the number seven. Seven themes, first seven days, seven signs, seven I Am’s, seven people Jesus encountered, the last seven days, and the seven resurrection events.
In my continuing studies I am also discovering Johns’ unique use of vocabulary. Words of significance that weave their way through Johns’ gospel.
